Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50th Anniversary Edition DELIVERED!

We here at Lamborghini Newport Beach are very excited to announce that we have sold what we believe is the first Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster 50th Anniversary Edition finished in "Rosso Mars" in the world.  Coincidentally, we also have currently in stock a very lightly used Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante Edizione Tecnica that is also in "Rosso Mars".  While the Gallardo is an identical twin to the very last Gallardo to leave the assembly, the Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster is the 1st 50th Anniversary Edition to be finished in the "Rosso Mars" paint.

We've uploaded an entire gallery covering every inch of the Aventador LP 720-4 Roadster.

A Twin of the very last Gallardo to leave the assembly line has landed in our inventory!

Not too long ago, Automobili Lamborghini announced that the Gallardo assembly-line would cease to produce the Gallardo model in order to make changes for the Huracan LP 610-4.  The very last Gallardo produced was a Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante finished in "Rosso Mars" paint.

We are excited to add to our lineupan identical twin to that Gallardo, a Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante Edizione Tecnica shown below also finished in "Rosso Mars.

Lamborghini increases worldwide sales for the third year in a row to 2,121 cars delivered to customers!

• All-time high in V12 sales with the record of the Lamborghini Aventador (1,001 deliveries)
• USA largest single market followed by China
• Balanced presence across the three regions EMEA, America and APAC

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. looks back on 2013 as a year with great importance for the brand, the products and the sales.

“In the year of our 50th anniversary, Lamborghini has delivered a very satisfying performance, confirming the strength of our product and commercial strategy”, said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. “Even in its last year of production the Lamborghini Gallardo has shown strong sales, whereas the Aventador has beaten all records of V12 model sales in our history. The USA and China are our biggest single markets, the Middle East and Japan are very strong and Europe is in line with the trend in our market segment.”

With 129 dealers serving 46 countries, in 2013 worldwide deliveries to customers have been increased from 2,083 to 2,121 units. This development is outperforming the trend of the market in the super sports car segment.

Lamborghini is a global brand and sales distribution is well balanced among the three regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) 34%, America 36% and Asia Pacific 30%.

Thanks to the Lamborghini Aventador, 2013 has been the most successful year of V12 model sales in the history of Lamborghini. 1,001 units have been delivered to customers (922 in 2012, +9%). Two and a half years after its market introduction the order bank for both, Coupé and Roadster version, still covers the next 12 months.

Although in its last year of production, the Lamborghini Gallardo confirms to be an evergreen super sports car with an excellent performance of 1,120 units sold in 2013 (1,161 in 2012). With a total of 14,022 units the Gallardo is by far the most-built Lamborghini ever.

In 2013 the company continued its path of sustainable development, enlarging its facilities and hiring 100 high qualified professionals in Sant’Agata Bolognese to sustain both, production demand and new projects, ending up with 1,029 employees by the end of the year.

Early in 2013 Lamborghini introduced the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, the ultimate open-air luxury super sports car, while the Gallardo Squadra Corse, presented at the end of the year, celebrated also the end of the Gallardo range with a best-in-class version, able to break many lap time records.
Limited edition one-offs like the Egoista, the Veneno and the Veneno Roadster were presented as an homage to the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini, alongside special anniversary editions of the Gallardo, the Aventador and the Aventador Roadster.
Celebrations for the 50th anniversary involved customers and fans with many events worldwide and the greatest reunion ever, held in May 2013 in Italy with more than 350 supercars, proving that the Lamborghini global community is stronger than ever.

January 2014 Supercar Show

What other way to start off the fresh year of 2014 than to host a Supercar Show at our dealership.  Much like last year, we'll be hosting our Supercar Shows the very first Saturday of every month.  This past Saturday, January 4th, proved to be quite the Supercar Show.  As always, 8:45AM rolled around as cars already started showing up.  By 9:30AM, the parking lot was nearly full and by 10:00AM, we were at full capacity.
No matter your taste in exotic super cars, there was a supercar here that held a special spot in every onlooker's heart.  If you're a Lamborghini fanatic, Diablo, Aventador, Murcielago, Murcielago LP 670-4 SV and Gallardo of all years and colors were there.

From the Ferrari stable were plenty of 430 Scuderia, a 360 Modena, a 458 or two, and the heart-stopper of all Ferrari, the Enzo.  But make no mistake, the Enzo wasn't the only show-stopper.  A Koenigsegg CCX pulled the crowds to the sidewalk as it made its approach to our lot.  Although it was a bit tough navigating through the parking lot with the dense crowds, the elusive pegasus of a supercar rested in the corner of our lot content and poised.
As the Koenigsegg shut down, the howl of a V10 in the distance became clear.  The howl of a V10 produced by a Carrera GT also triggered everyone's ears as if onlookers had a spider-sense of another approaching special supercar.

On top of the already impressive line up of the CCX, Carrera GT, Enzo, and many Lamborghini and Ferrari super cars, two cars possessed a unique tone like no others.  The 1st was our friend and client Paul with his beast of a Murcielago, his Grigio Telesto Murcielago LP 670-4 SV.  The 2nd was a GMG Racing-prepped Porsche GT3RS Cup Car that had a full build completed at GMG Racing.  The brutal yet majestic sound of the flat 6 cylinder was unlike any Porsche GT3 we've heard.  On the flip side to the brutal-sounding GT3 was a proud showing of the highly refined and atrociously fast McLaren 12C.  A few 12C Coupes and a few 12C Spiders made an appearance to our show including a rare Neiman Marcus Edition 12C finished in an elegant Volcano Red paint.  Additional attendees included a Porsche Turbo, an Audi R8 wrapped in an eye-catching Matte-Blue Chrome by Protective Film Solutions, and a special Perana Z-One.
Enough about what showed up, let us just show you with our 170+ picture gallery what you missed if you were not able to make it.  If you did make it, we're sure the pictures will send you in a mental flashback so realistic you'd think you were inhaling exhaust fumes this second as you read this text.
