Lamborghini Newport Beach enjoy the "Lamborghini Esperienza" with clients.

Lamborghini Newport Beach enjoyed an exclusive Aventador-only ‘Esperienza’ event at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.  With a cool morning and seemingly perfect day, the setting was perfect.

After a brief introduction, drivers were ready to take the V12-powered bulls by the horns…. literally.  On site were factory-trained Lamborghini instructors who were extremely happy to coach and advise drivers throughout the day. In total, five Lamborghini Aventador Coupes, and five Lamborghini Aventador Roadsters were available for our drivers.  Just 10 of Lamborghini's latest and greatest together made full use of the track surface as 7000HP pounded the pavement pumped by 120 cylinders.

With a ratio of three drivers to each Aventador, there was plenty of opportunity to learn both the track limits of the Aventador LP700-4.  From corner entry, corner exit, dead-stop sprint to maximum emergency stopping, each Aventador and pilot got a workout.

The next stage in our drivers' development is the Lamborghini ‘Accademia’ program.  Please stay tuned for more information.

Lamborghini Newport Beach Easter Drive

The typical Southern California weather we all know and love is here.  This past Easter weekend, we decided to host a drive to enjoy our super sports cars in this ideal weather.  At around 10AM on Saturday, April 19th, our guests made their way to our dealership where we caught up with all of our friends.  Lamborghini attendees included both Roadster, Spyder, and Coupe variants of the Aventador, Gallardo, Murcielago, & Diablo.  McLaren attendees included a mix of 12C Coupes and Spiders along with the just-landed 650S Spider.

In typical fashion with our drives, we literally pack the lanes with supercars.  To the left, to the right, behind, in front, and even at the next light, we made our presence known with the throttle-blipped downshifts in an assortment of brightly-painted supercars.  The public sure didn't seem to complain either as cell phones and cameras sprouted from every onlooker's pocket.

Our final destination landed us at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes.  Once everyone settled into their park spots, laughs and pictures were shared with each other.  Seeing a McLaren or Lamborghini on the road is rare enough, but being in a large 20+ supercar group truly is an experience. As the adrenaline wore off, we made our way onto the rear patio which had a breath-taking view of the Pacific Ocean.  Following the light lunch, our guests mingled and were burdened on deciding which route they preferred to take back to Orange County.  Some chose the canyons, others the freeways, and others Pacific Coast Highway.  Regardless of your preference, every direction would be filled supercars.

Lamborghini Newport Beach would like to thank all our guests who joined us on our Easter Drive.  It was great catching up with all of you and also great to have new guests join us and experience the supercar lifestyle of Lamborghini Newport Beach.  We look forward to seeing you at our next drive.  Until then, stay uncompromised.

Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe kicks off sixth season in Monza this weekend!

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Monza, Italy, 9 April 2014. The sixth season starts in Monza this weekend, 11-13 April, for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe.

The 2014 one-make series based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo, will race across Europe at five FIA-approved circuits, starting with Monza and going onwards to Silverstone (England), Paul Ricard (France), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Nürburgring (Germany). The series will culminate in November at the Asian venue of Sepang, Malaysia, where the final European round will be held during the same weekend as the world finals for all three Super Trofeo series running internationally: in Europe, Asia and the USA.

The season opener in Monza features a record grid, with up to 25 cars for the season, 12 confirmed teams and an exceptionally high number of ‘young’ drivers. This trend is reflected in a new Young Drivers’ Program, through which Lamborghini Squadra Corse aims to select the best ‘under 26’ drivers to involve them in testing sessions for the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand.

Other developments in 2014 include a new class, reflecting the number and quality of race entrants: along with the PRO-AM and AM, there will also be the PRO One.

Autocarrozzeria Imperiale this year will be well represented by the experienced Andrea Palma and the 19-year old Alberto Viberti; the latter current AM World Champion and in 2014 promoted to the PRO-AM class where he will face his team mate and rival, rookie Alberto Di Folco (who turned 18 on 21 March), and who makes his racing debut in the European Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. The Italian youngster already proved his prowess behind the wheel of a Super Trofeo race car in the two-day testing session held last month in Vallelunga, where he topped the timesheet.

Last year’s season-opener winner, also at Monza, was Swiss Cédric Leimer: the 2013 vice-champion is aiming for this year’s PRO championship title, again under the Autovitesse Garage R. Affolter team’s banner.

Among other newcomers is Italian Edoardo Piscopo, a talented and experienced driver, who is set to make his debut in the series with Bonaldi Motorsport.

Alberto Cerqui, who has a season in WTCC and several wins under his belt, will share the wheel with Andrea Ceccato in the car run by Composit Motorsport.

The 23-year old Jeroen Mul will debut in the PRO Class with Lamborghini Racing Team Germany. The Dutch has a five year single-seater experience and recently managed eighth overall on a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 in Dubai 24hrs race.

The Austrian Gerhard Tweraser (class of ’88) will race in the PRO-AM Class with Grasser Racing Team. Along with him, but on a car run by Racetrax, there will be the Dimitri Enjalbert-Mikko Eskelinen duo.

Among the AM drivers, the pairs Gianfranco Bocellari-Roberto Delliguanti and Manuel Flaminio-Vincenzo Sauto (Eurotech Engineering), and the Russian Mikhail Spiridonov (Kinetic Racing Team) will join the Series.

DTMotorsport with the rookie Simone Pellegrinelli will also make their series debut, while Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team UK and Heico-Gravity Charouz Team will complete the field.

At Monza, the first green flag is set for Friday morning with two 60-minute free practice sessions at 11.05 am and 2.20 pm. The 40-minute qualifying session is on Saturday at 10.40 am while in the afternoon, at 2.55, the lights will go up on the 50-minute Race One. Race Two starts Sunday at 10.45.

This year extended TV coverage will be broadcast: in Italy all races will be shown LIVE on Class TV (Ch.27/Cable), while 48 highlights will be broadcast the first Saturday following the event on European motorsport channel Motors TV. At the same time all races will be streamed live on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse website: http://squadracorse.lamborghini.com/en/live.

April 2014 Supercar Show at Lamborghini Newport Beach

Click the link below to view 180+ photos from April's Supercar Show.

April is here and the weather is definitely Spring-like.  Recently we've had some bad luck with the weather but on April 5th, the weather couldn't have been any better for our Supercar Show.  A very light breeze with the warm California sun enticed all the supercar owners to bring their prized weekend-warriors out for a breath of fresh air.  And boy did the supercars come out in full force this weekend!

If you joined us this past Saturday, then you know the type and amount of very special supercars that were in attendance.  Undoubtedly, the Game-Changing "Azure Blue" McLaren P1 was the center of attention with a pair of Ferrari F40's also catching onlookers in disbelief as many did double-takes to insure they were in fact witnessing 2 F40's within 30 feet of each other.  Regardless of your preferred marque of supercars, every manufacturer was well represented.

If you love Lamborghini, then the scenery of Aventador's, Murcielago's, Gallardo's, and even Diablo's would satisfy your quench.  Should you prefer Ferrari, a very special 458 Speciale, F430's, F430 Scuderia, 360 Modena's, and a 599 would leave you feeling much happier.

McLaren enthusiasts would be happy to find here the P1 supported by the new 650S Spider and a handful of 12C's.  The McLaren's weren't the only British to join the fun as an Aston Martin and Rolls Royce Wraith were proudly displayed.

Not into British supercars?  No need to worry, the German marques Porsche, Mercedes & Audi all had very respectable representatives such as a Carrera GT, 997, R8's, and an SLS showing off their German pride.

An American supercar and Japanese supercar were also in attendance in the form of a Ford GT and Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R.  Both extremely fine examples showing that you don't have to be european-blooded to be a proper supercar.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the supercar enthusiasts and supercar owners for joining us at our dealership for our Supercar Show.  We'll see you back here in a month for the next round!
